(Cette charité a fut créée à San Francisco pour aider les professeurs de tango du monde entier devenus incapables de travailler à cause de problèmes de santé ou ne bénéficiant pas d'assurance nécessaires pour couvrir leurs frais médicaux.)
"Nos professeurs sont un lien essentiel pour assurer l’épanouissement des communautés de tango sur place et autour du monde et favoriser l’évolution du tango comme forme d’art. Sans eux, la génération actuelle de danseurs n’existerait pas et la suivante non plus. Plusieurs d’entre eux se sont donnés corps et âmes pour nous enseigner les premiers pas de tango, se contentant souvent d’un mode de vie modeste. C’est maintenant notre tour de faire le pas nécessaire pour les aider. "

(Charity founded in San Francisco to help tango teachers who are unable to work due to illness or to pay their health care costs.

Without them we would not have the current generation of dancers nor the next. Many of them have given so much of themselves to teach us our first steps in tango - often earning little more than a modest living. Now it's our turn to take a small step to take care of them. "

Studio TANGO will donate all the June 13th entrance fees to this cause.
From June 13-20 a donation box will be made available at the studio for those who wish to make a contribution.
